Biofuel
The notion biofuel is used to describe fuel made of biomass and waste. However, there are several types of biofuels. Bioethanol or biodiesel are used in cars and also are a type of biofuel. BAGETA operates in the sector of wood processing, therefore the produced biofuel is the product of raw wood.
Biofuel is produced from decomposable and renewable biomass. In our production units, all materials such as chips, sawdust and bark are collected during wood processing.
Bark is used for our company’s heating and in production process (in wood drying plants). However, the collected sawdust and chips are used to make a product used for biofuel, i.e., wood pellets.
It is very important that the extraction of raw material is controlled because only in this way the quality of biofuel production is ensured. In the production of pellets, BAGETA does not use any waste of furniture industry or other already used wood products.
